This is about tension and maintaining a smaller range of motion (ROM) in order to keep tension throughout the whole set. The ROM we are working is 1/4 from the bottom and 3/4 up. So think about it as 4 stages:
1. 0 - 1/4
2. 1/4 - 1/2
3. 1/2 - 3/4
4. 3/4 - 1
For this movement you will be working 2 & 3
Program 3-4 sets x 15-20 reps
