Dennis James talks with Jake Wood, Wings of Strength creator and Olympia owner who was at the forefront of the return of Ms. Olympia.
At 6’6” Wood went from training for football to bodybuilding training, competing on the local level.
He went from bodybuilding fan to mogul, creating Wings of Strength, where his first promotion was the 2009 Tampa Pro. Now as owner of the Olympia since 2020, Wood talks about the significance of bringing the Ms. Olympia contest back to bodybuilding.
Wood also drops some history about he and his family’s involvement in the aircraft industry.
