Fighting Techniques: Shadow Boxing Drills with 3x World Kickboxing Champion Derek Panza

This week’s “Ten Minute Technique” for Muscle & Fitness focuses on my favorite shadow boxing drill. This drill teaches you how to execute punches in a clean, compact and efficient manner.

Punching wide and sloppy is a pit fall that many novice and even advanced fighters fall into. It’s imperative to train your body and mind to punch without flailing your arms, telegraphing, or loosing speed and power with wasted movement.

Although I am practicing this technique at my gym, you can easily practice this at home in a door frame!!
