Better Than Ezra’s Kevin Griffin Nearly Gave Up Creating One of His Biggest Hits

You’ve likely heard Kevin Griffin’s work, either through his work as frontman for the ’90s alt rockers Better Than Ezra or through his songwriting talents for artists such as Sugarland and Train (The band’s hits have also been redone by stars such as Taylor Swift). Griffin’s résumé continues to overflow with high points, but at his career’s lowest moment, if he had not accepted the need for change, he says the music could have stopped permanently—including the completion of the Sugarland hit “Stuck Like Glue.”
